We use Google Meet for screen sharing. So if you want to hop on a call with support to show us what is happening, here's a little guidance on what to do.
How to download the Google Meet app:
- For Android devices:
- Open Google Play Store on your Android device.
- In the search bar at the top, type "Google Meet" and press Enter.
- Find the official Google Meet app in the search results and tap on it.
- Tap the “Install” button to download and install the app.
- Once the installation is complete, tap “Open” to launch the app.
- Sign in with your Google account if prompted or follow the on-screen instructions to join a meeting.

For iOS devices (iPhone/iPad):
- Open the App Store on your iOS device.
- In the search tab at the bottom, type "Google Meet" and press Enter.
- Find the official Google Meet app in the search results and tap on it.
- Tap the “Get” button (or the cloud icon with an arrow) to download and install the app.
- Once the installation is complete, tap “Open” to launch the app.
- Sign in with your Google account if prompted or follow the on-screen instructions to join a meeting.
- Make sure you have the Google Meet app installed and ready before the Q&A session to ensure a smooth experience.
- How to share screen in Google Meet app:
- Join a meeting: Open the Google Meet app and join the meeting you plan to participate in.
- Start the meeting: Once you're in the meeting, tap the screen to reveal the meeting controls if they're not already visible.
- Access Screen Sharing: Look for the “Present Now” button, which is usually located at the bottom of the screen among the meeting controls. Tap "Present Now."
- Choose what to share: You will be presented with options on what to share:
- Your entire screen: This will share everything displayed on your device.
- A specific window: This allows you to choose a specific application or window to share.
- A Google Drive presentation: Share a presentation stored in your Google Drive. Select the option that suits your needs.
- Start Sharing: After selecting the sharing option, tap “Start Sharing.”
- Stop Sharing: To stop sharing your screen, tap the “Stop Presenting” button at the top of the screen or the “Stop Sharing” option in the meeting controls.
Please note that screen sharing may require certain permissions on your device. Follow the on-screen instructions to grant the necessary permissions if requested.
