Associate: Check in and Out with Proof of Completion

Time to put your dancing shoes on 💃! Your workday is like a dance, and Peazy is your partner, helping you glide through tasks effortlessly.

In this guide, we'll show you how to check in, stay on tempo, and check out with a performance that'll make any dance floor jealous.

Step 1: Job Acceptance

  • Log in to your Peazy account via the app.
  • Navigate to the "Jobs" section, where you'll find your awaited jobs.
  • Choose the job you want to accept.
  • Review the job details and then click "Accept."

Step 2: Getting Started

  • Once accepted, an upcoming job alert will appear. Click "Get Started" to begin.
  • Ensure that your location permissions are enabled for the app, allowing it to track your proximity to the job site.

How to enable location permissions

For iOS (iPhone/iPad):

  • Open Settings: Find and tap the "Settings" app on your home screen. It typically has an icon that looks like a gear.
  • Scroll Down: Scroll down the settings menu until you find the list of installed apps.
  • Find Peazy: Locate and tap on the "Peazy" app in the list. This will open the app's settings.
  • Tap "Location": In the Peazy app settings, tap on "Location."
  • Choose Location Access: You'll have options like "Never," "While Using the App," and "Always." To enable location tracking for Peazy, select "While Using the App." This option allows the app to access your location only when you have it open and active.
  • Exit Settings: After making your selection, exit the settings menu.
  • Now, the Peazy app should have access to your location while you're actively using it, which is essential for checking in and out of job sites when you're in proximity.

For Android:

  • Open Settings: Find and open the "Settings" app on your Android device. It's often represented by a gear icon.
  • Apps or Application Manager: Depending on your Android version, you may need to look for "Apps," "Applications," or "Application Manager."
  • Find Peazy: Scroll through the list of installed apps and find "Peazy." Tap on it to open the app's settings.
  • App Permissions: Look for an option related to "Permissions" or "App Permissions." Tap on it.
  • Location Permission: Find "Location" among the permissions and tap on it.
  • Choose Location Access: You should see options like "Allow all the time," "Allow only while using the app," and "Deny." To enable location tracking for Peazy, select "Allow only while using the app."
  • Exit Settings: After making your selection, exit the settings menu.

Step 3: Pre-Shift Checklist

  • You'll see the pre-shift checklist, listing the items you need for the job (e.g., cleaning solution and a mop).
  • Check off the items you have and click "Continue."
  • If you encounter any issues or don't have the required items, click "Create Issue."

Step 4: Location Services

  • If your location services are not set correctly, adjust them in your device settings to ensure the app can track your location while on site. (See directions above)

Step 5: Accessing the Facility

  • After setting your location services, you can access the facility if you're on-site and within the specified time frame.
  • Access details, including parking information, access codes, and contact persons, will be provided.

Step 6: Punching In

  • Click "Punch In" at the current time to officially start your work on the job. (You'll have options to pause your punch-in if you take a break and end it when you complete your tasks.)
  • Click "Continue" to enter the job.

Step 7: Completing Tasks with Proof

  • Each task within the job may require proof of completion, such as photos or videos.
  • Complete the task by providing the required proof.
  • Add comments if necessary.
  • Mark the task as complete when you're finished. The time clock will stop for that specific task.

Step 8: Punching Out

  • Once all tasks are completed, you can punch out by clicking the "Punch Out" option.
  • Add any comments or notes if needed.
  • Confirm that you want to punch out.

Step 9: Job Completion

  • You'll receive confirmation that the job was successfully completed, and all tasks were finished on time.
  • Your total work duration for the job will be tracked.

That's it! You've successfully checked in, completed your tasks, and checked out of the job using Peazy. Just like your favorite dance moves, work can flow seamlessly when you're in the groove.
